News and education, not advice
Everything The Retest publishes, on this site, in the Brief, in our community and on social media, is general market news, commentary and education.
It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. It does not consider your goals, finances or risk tolerance.
We are not registered investment advisers or brokers. Talk to a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
- 2
Risk
Trading and investing carry real risk of loss. Futures and other leveraged products can lose more than the money you put in.
Past market reactions, including everything in our historical record and data dives, do not predict or guarantee future results. History is not a prediction.
Example charts and setups in our education posts are labeled as examples. They show how a concept works, not a trade to take.
- 3
Our own positions
The people behind The Retest trade, and may hold positions in the markets we cover, including stock index futures and gold.
We never publish our own trades, entries or results, and we never give trade signals.

Sources and accuracy
We report from official releases and named outlets, and we link and credit every source. Quotes and forecasts belong to the people and firms we name.
We work hard to be accurate and correct mistakes in public, but information can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. It is provided as is, without warranty.
Links to other sites are for reference. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content.

Your decisions
You are responsible for your own decisions. The Retest is not liable for any loss or damage from using or relying on what we publish.
